When you take the time to make something by hand, you are telling the world the story of you.
My story begins with the beauty of the natural world. Color…texture…size…and placement in the ecosystem all stir my imagination.
I am not a realist; there is no effort to replicate nature, but to interpret it in my chosen medium of fiber. I am drawn to abstract art which evokes feelings leaving each person to have a unique experience.
Sketching, painting, more dreaming and thinking all help me to solidify my plan.
Next I prepare the wool, then spin it into yarn.
Finally, I can bring life to what had been living in my head.
